WEST TEXAS - A major west Texas bank is being bought out by a larger bank in an effort to meet the growing demand in the Permian Basin. According to Western National Bank officials, Frost Bank which is a premier lender in Texas is absorbing WNB.
Officials say the two banks match very well and WNB becoming Frost will allow the bank to offer more services to customers especially in our rapidly growing economy. The conversion to Frost will take place on January 17th of 2014. Bank officials say the transition will be seamless and management will remain the same.
