Tom Green Co. Shooting Suspect Taken into Custody in Andrews County, Children Are OK 7/28/13 UPDATE: 11:02pm

Scanner traffic reports the Amber Alert has been cancelled and the suspect is in custody. The children are OK.
Midland DPS tells us the suspect was taken into custody in Andrews County near R and D's on Hwy. 385.
DPS out of San Angelo just sent an alert to Midland lawmen stating the shooting suspect could be on the way to Midland County, according to scanner traffic.
San Angelo DPS tell us his 2011 tan dodge pickup has a black rail guard and silver tool box with the license plate AX96509.
Go San Angelo reports that the two children with the suspect are his own, a 7-year-old girl and 9-year-old boy.
He is a suspect in a Wall shooting earlier this evening where two people were killed and one airlifted to a hospital.
KLST-TV in San Angelo tells CBS 7 that 2 people are confirmed dead, and another has been airlifted to the hospital.
The shooting happened about 7:00pm Sunday night at 7000 FM 1223/Susan Peak Road in Wall.
The suspect, Brian Berry is 6'3" tall, and weighs 250 pounds.
Lawmen say he has blonde hair, but may have a shaved head.
He is believed to be driving a 4 door tan Dodge pickup.
No direction of travel has been determined just yet.
Midland Co. – A heavily armed shooting suspect is on the run from Tom Green County.
Tom Green County Sheriff’s officials alerted the Midland Sheriff’s office of the incident. They say a multiple party shooting happened in their county this evening. Scanner traffic reports the suspect, Brian Berry, wanted in connection to the shooting is on the run.
TGSO officials say the man took two children with him in a Chevy Camero. They report he changed vehicles in El Dorado. He’s now in a tan Dodge pickup, according to scanner traffic.
Scanner traffic told Midland Co. deputies to use caution if they come into contact with the man.
No word on which direction the man is headed.
