UTPB To Modify Emergency Plan Following Last Week's Evacuation 4/30/13

ODESSA-UTPB said in a release that it will be reviewing it's emergency plan to improve crisis response in the future.
On Wednesday, students were alerted to a potential emergency and a number of buildings on campus were evacuated after a report of an unattended briefcase in the Mesa Building.
"Following the incident, the UTPB Emergency Management Committee met and has reviewed the emergency response taken pertaining to this incident. While the committee believes that the response was effective, it is in the process of developing recommendations
for modifications to the emergency plan that will be designed to improve future
crisis response," according to the UTPB press release.
