COPsync911 Program Providing Safety to Schools Will Hold News Conference in Alpine 4/25/13
April 25, 2013
Fort Stockton - Providing a safe environment for our students is always a top priority for teachers and administrators.A new form of safety is now spreading throughout the state in the form of a button by using the COPsync911 program. COPsync911 works with modern day technology allowing teachers to push a button on their computers or tablets alerting the closest five law enforcement officers to the building during an emergency. Many West Texas counties, such as Pecos and Brewster County, are already integrating the program into their communities. A press conference is being held April 26th in Alpine in hopes of growing the program.
