OPD Responds to Call of Woman Claiming She 'Killed a Man and Dog, Covered in Blood' UPDATE 9:07 PM 3/31/13

The scene on the 200 block of Hancock is now clear.
The Odessa American is reporting that the woman was arrested and charged with public intoxication, but that woman's claims of killing a man and his dog were unfounded.
We're working to get that information from OPD.
An eyewitness who saw the woman get arrested said she told her the shocking story.
"She said she killed that man with that saw and turn around and cut that pit bull dog," said the eyewitness.

Our crew tells us a witness says they called the police when they were approached by a woman in her 30s who was covered in blood. They told our crew that the woman told them she killed her boyfriend and dog with a chainsaw. OPD is currently investigating these claims.
Odessa - Our crew is on the scene of a situation on the 200 block of south Hancock in Odessa.
Odessa Police responded to a call of a woman who claims, according to scanner traffic, to have “killed a man and a dog with a saw and is covered in blood.”
Officers, along with an ambulance, are on scene investigating the woman’s claims.
No further details have been released at this time.
