Odessa American: Max Shatto Autopsy Results Released 3/26/13
The Odessa American's Jon Vanderlaan reports that the medical examiners have released Max Shatto's autopsy results.
At the time of death, Shatto's body displayed over 30 bruises at various stages of healing. His body was also riddled with scars, abrasions and scratches in addition to the bruises.
Examiners believe that the injuries were due to self-injury stemming from a serious mental condition.
Before his death, Shatto was put on medication often prescribed to treat the symptoms of schizophrenia.
