PCMH Wellness Center Sees 40,000 Visits in 2012 3/20/13

Ft. Stockton – The community of Ft. Stockton are moving towards a healthier lifestyle.
Pecos County Memorial Hospital has had a wellness center for 15 years, however, since the opening of the new wellness center at the hospital, participation has increased dramatically.
The hospital had over 40,000 visits to the wellness center in 2012, which is double what the numbers had been in the past.
With the dramatic increase, the hospital is now focusing on making meaningful change in the health of the community.
Between several programs for adults and children, the hospital is seeing an incredible response from their community.
