Scurry Co – The investigation of a body found in Scurry County is on its fourth day.
DPS officials tell CBS 7 that an FBI foresecs team is on the scene to assist local and state authorities.
No time frame has been set as to when the crime scene will wrap up. DPS officials say investigators are taking their time to ensure every detail is covered.
Scurry County Deputies discovered the badly decomposed body on Saturday after a caller reported it to them.
The body is so badly decomposed that it will take an autopsy to determine age and gender.
