2 Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide 3/19/13

KATY, Texas - Authorities say they found a 1-year-old and a 4-year-old
in a Houston-area home where a man and a woman were found dead in an apparent
murder-suicide.
They say the children were found Monday morning in a bedroom and did not
appear to have witnessed the violence. Fort Bend County sheriff's spokesman Bob
Haenel says the woman was stabbed with a knife and her husband then hung
himself. The identity of the couple was not released.
Haenel says the children have been turned over to family members.
He says the sheriff's office received a call shortly before 8 a.m. from the
man saying he had killed his wife.
Katy is about 30 miles west of Houston.
