ECTOR COUNTY-The mother of an Odessa man who was shot and killed in his home back in February is speaking out.
The death of Randy Brooks Jr. is being investigated as a murder by the Ector County Sheriff's office.
His mother, Terry Gillen is speaking out, raising questions about the investigation into her son's death and asking for answers.
“I want justice for my son,” Gillen said. “He can’t stand up for himself and I want to do that for him.”
The Ector County Sheriff’s Department says there are no new details are available at this time.
“There is an ongoing investigation,” said Lieutenant Eaton of the Ector County Sheriff’s Office.
Gillen says Brooks was a Veteran and had fallen in with the wrong crowd at the time of his death.
