Tour de Houston Rider Has Medical Trouble, Dies 3/18/13

HOUSTON - Organizers say a cyclist in the Tour de Houston has died
following an unspecified medical emergency.
Tour spokeswoman Susan Christian says the man died Sunday. His name and
further details on the medical problem were not immediately released.
Christian also says the death was not the result of any collision during the
eighth-annual event.
It's the first cyclist death during the Tour de Houston, which included 20,
45 and 70-mile races.
Funds raised from this year's event will benefit reforestation of Houston
parks that have suffered drought damage.
