Odessa Bank Robbery Suspect On The Run 3/18/13




According to the Odessa American, Odessa Police reports call the suspect a "known person" to the bank employees.

DATE/TIME REPORTED: March 18, 2013. 0756 hours
LOCATION: 4440 East 52nd Street. West Texas Educator Credit Union

SUMMARY:
Odessa Police are on the scene of an aggravated robbery that occurred at the West Texas Educators Credit Union located at 4440 East 52nd Street. Two bank employees reported to police that they were entering the business at 7:51am through the bank door when a male dressed in camouflage rushed behind them. The suspect had a handgun and demanded money. The employees complied and the suspect was handed an undetermined amount of currency.

The suspect left the business on foot in an unknown direction. No one was injured. The suspect is described as a male, wearing all camouflage clothing and a dark mask. Odessa, Tx- Around 7:45 this morning police scanner reports indicated a robbery in progress at the West Texas Educators Credit Union in Odessa.
The location is 4440 E. 52nd Street.
Police are looking for a white male, dressed in camouflage.
He is believed to have taken $30,000-$35,000.
He is armed and dangerous.
