Sunny And Warm Again Today 3/14/13
Thursday Morning Weather Update

High pressure remains in control of the weather pattern today. Skies will be sunny and winds will be out of the south at 10-20mph. Temperatures will top out around 80 for most of the Permian Basin. A few locations in the Trans Pecos will see highs in the mid 80’s.
The upper level ridge responsible for today’s forecast will remain in place through Saturday. This will keep temperatures in the upper 80’s to around 90 on Friday and Saturday.
By Sunday, the ridge begins to loose its influence on our weather pattern and the temperature will begin to fall. Expect highs in the 70’s by next week. A few extra clouds will roll into the area starting late in the weekend. While some moisture return is expected, I’m not excited about rain chances at this time.
