The oil spill has been cleaned off of the south 191 service road and has been re-opened to traffic.

The City of Midland just issued this release:
The Midland Fire Department responded to a spill at approximately 11:28 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 191.
An oil well was spraying a mixture of oil and water in an area of the south service road of Highway 191 located just east of Mid-Cities Community Church. This spill does not pose a threat to the public.
A portion of the south service road of Highway 191 located just east of Mid-Cities Community Church is currently closed to traffic.
