Councilman Proposing Developers Donate Land For Parks 03/13/13

MIDLAND, TX – As the Tall City begins to grow, a Midland City Council member wants to make sure quality of life remains a focus. Midland City Councilman, Michael Trost is proposing that developers of new subdivisions dedicate land for parks. Currently, developers set aside land to be sold to the City, however Councilman Trost would like an ordinance that requires developers to give the land to the City. He says parks give a sense of community and are very important to the vision of Midland.
