Lost Teens found in Upton County 3/12/13

Upton county sheriffs deputies say two 14 year olds were dropped off by there uncle to canoe the Pecos river. They started at FM 1901 and wanted to exit 305, but deputies say the teens underestimated the time it took to get from one point to the other.
The 911 call came in about 10:30pm. Deputies say the boys were stranded for four hours and the cell phone service was scarce.
Deputies say volunteer firefighters used sirens to help the two with location.
EMS took them to the hospital to get checked out. No one was injured.
Dozens of law enforcement officials from the Upton County Sheriff's office, game wardens, and Volunteer fire dept took part in the search.
