Sunny Skies And Cooler Temps Today 3/12/13

Sunny skies and slightly cooler temperatures are in the offing for today. Highs will top out in the upper 60’s to around 70 this afternoon. A few clouds may drift into the northern parts of the area but most will see sunny skies. Winds will be out of the north as a cold front moves into the area. The net effect of this front will be a northerly shift to the winds and temperatures a few degrees cooler than yesterdays readings.
A warming trend will commence on Wednesday and continue into the weekend. Look for highs in the 70’s on Wednesday and Thursday. 80’s are expected, Friday through the weekend.
Another upper level storm system will drift into the area on Monday. It’s still a little too early to call for rain. However, given the dry conditions in the first six days of the forecast, it is safe to say that Monday would be the first chance of a change.
