Current JBS Intersection Not In Compliance With ADA Regulations 3/11/13

ODESSA-The City of Odessa says the current intersection at JBS Parkway and University is not in compliance with regulations under the Americans With Disabilities Act.
Construction began Friday on the addition of sidewalks and wheelchair access ramps along JBS between 42nd and University.
The city says the first phase of construction is all about getting the intersection in compliance with regulations.
"It may be out of compliance, but they know we are working on putting them in," said Andrea Goodson, Spokesperson for The City of Odessa.
