MIDLAND, TX - If you've been near Midland International Airport, you've probably seen an unusually larger plane on the tarmac. According to airport officials, a United plane had to make an emergency landing Saturday due to engine problems. As the plane continues to undergo repairs, Midland airport fire crews are taking the opportunity to train for emergencies using the larger aircraft. Sources tell us the flight was headed from Houston to Los Angeles.
