Five people were sent to the hospital after a transport van collided with a truck on Hwy. 349 near FM 1379 early this morning.
The driver of the van lost two fingers in the wreck. The other four people involved were transported to the hospital as a safety precaution.

Midland - While you were sleeping a high-speed crash sent four people to the hospital.
It happened at Highway 349 and County Road 270 near FM 1379 in Midland around 4:15 this morning.
Scanner traffic reports at least one victim suffered major but not life threatening injuries.
If you're driving in the area, be careful or consider taking a different route.
