(Kermit)- The city of Kermit now has a new City Manager.
City councilmembers voted to hire Former Colorado City Manager Pete Kampfer in a special meeting last week.
Kampfer recently left Colorado City and was hired in Raton, New Mexico.
According to the Winkler County News, Kampfer is expected to start in Kermit on March 27th.
This is the second time the council has hired a new city manager in recent months.
The last person to accept the job quit before he even started.
