Big Spring - Howard County Commissioners will meet Monday morning to discuss who will pick up the bill on the overages of the new law enforcement center, the project went over budget to the tune $110,000.
Commissioners will consider an agreement with the city of Big Spring that will call for the municipality to cover half of the overages the project incurred during the construction of the center.
The Big Spring city council voted last month to pay half of the budget-overages from the joint venture.
The facility houses both the Big Spring Police Department and Howard County Sheriff's Office under the same roof, located adjacent to the county detention center.
