TxDOT Steps Up Efforts To Combat Drunk Driving 3/7/13

(West Texas)- With more than 24,000 alcohol-related crashes in Texas in 2011, TxDOT is stepping up efforts to combat the problem.
They are announcing a new website called “Sober Rides.”
On the site, you can input your address, and then find safe options for getting home.
There are sections for cab and taxi information, "phone-a-friend", Google maps and even a Facebook option to ask a friend for a ride.
TxDOT says this will be especially timely with spring break coming up.
