Partly cloudy skies and warmer temperatures are expected across West Texas today. Highs will be in the 70’s and even 80’s. Winds will be out of the southeast at 15-25mph this afternoon.
Southeast winds will continue into your Friday allowing moisture to return to the area. At the same time, a large upper level storm system, currently located along the western coast of the United States will drop into the Desert Southwest. This will bring a chance of thunderstorms to the area late Friday into Saturday.
Highs will be much cooler on Sunday as a pacific cold front passes through the region.
Sunny skies and warmer temperatures will return next week.
