Grand Jury Indicts Odessa Man on Murder, Aggravated Assault Charges 3/5/13

ODESSA - Ector County District Attorney, Bobby Bland, issued a press release this morning on regarding the indictment of L.C. Davis, accused of murder and several other counts. The release says:
On March 4, 2013 the Grand Jury returned a nine (9) count indictment against L. C. Davis, Jr. He was indicted for events that occurred in the month of December, 2012 which surrounded and included the death of his wife, Venesta Davis, and the shooting of his step-son Andrew Thurman on Christmas Eve. He faces one count of murder, three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, one count of assault family violence, one count of violation of protective order, one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and two counts of evading arrest. He is currently being held in the Ector County Jail on a $500,000.00 bond.
