Midland/Odessa, Texas March 5, 2013 – Basin PBS invites it’s membership, supporters and community members of West Texas to aid in reaching their $2.7 million dollar capital campaign goal by March 31, 2013. The funds will go toward moving Basin PBS into a permanent home in the historic Ritz Theater in downtown Midland. Basin PBS is 85% of the way to their goal of $2.7 million.
Basin PBS has a number of opportunities available for anyone interested to give. Naming opportunities throughout the Ritz are available from $50,000 and up who will be recognized on-air and with customized signage throughout the renovated Ritz. With a gift of just $1,000, supporters will receive on-air recognition as well as a spot on the Basin PBS donor wall inside the Ritz. This literally means Basin PBS only needs 500 supporters to give $1,000 each and our goal will be met. (artist concept drawing attached. concept only)
Moving into the historic Ritz Theater means Basin PBS will finally have a permanent home. It means we can continue to bring our viewers the commercial free, family programming they have come to love from Basin PBS. It also means Basin PBS will have the ability to offer a greater impact on the community, including more local content, public events and activities and services.
