Big Spring – A new phone scam is circulating around Big Spring and it has school officials concerned.
Big Spring ISD school officials say they have people calling around town saying they’re selling advertising for high school athletic programs.
Big Spring Independent School District does sanction ad sales several times a school year.
Standard procedure for BSISD-approved campaigns are for coaches, athletes or booster club members to solicit advertising money in person.
