MIDLAND - The Midland Police Department issued a press release regarding the search for a robbery suspect:

The Midland Police Department is searching for a suspect who committed robbery on Monday evening at the Tropicana music shop located at 610 S. Terrell St.
The suspect entered the store and displayed a black handgun, demanding money from the cashier. He then reached over the counter and stole a white Community National Bank bag containing approximately $1,136 before fleeing the scene.
He was described as a Hispanic male in his 40s with a moustache and a large build at a height of about 6 feet 3 inches. He was wearing a black cap, black jacket and blue jeans.
