AG Files Lawsuit Against State Veterans Home 2/26/13

Big Spring - The state of Texas has filed a lawsuit against the owner of a veteran home in Big Spring.
The state is charging Lamun-Lusk-Sanchez Veterans Home of violating minimum nursing home standards and threatening the safety of its residents.
The State Department of Aging and Disability Services has conducted several investigations on the nursing home, including the death of an 87-year-old resident who died of diabetic complications.
