Make a Wish West Texas Grants one More Wish 2/24/13

MIDLAND – A young Midland girl who has been making a difference in the lives of children across the Basin while battling cancer received a special surprise today.
Ashton Dunavan was welcomed by Joe James and staff at the Joe James Salon today for a new look, which consisted of a haircut, manicure and a pedicure as a gesture for her courage and willingness to help others.
James and his staff say the most fascinating part of Ashton is her positive attitude.
“I am glad we were able to be a part of this event. She is an amazing young lady,” said Joe James.
Dunavan's wish has been granted tonight; she will be going to Aulani Disney Resort in Hawaii.
