Hurricanes Lead the Way 2/23/13

One of the surprise teams of the year in college basketball tops the schedule today as No. 2 Miami is at Wake Forest. The `Canes, who are coached by former George Mason bench boss Jim Larranaga, are 22-3 on the year. This is his second season with Miami. A year ago Larranaga, who led Mason to the Final Four in 2006, racked up a record of 20-13. The Hurricanes top the ACC with wins in all 13 of their games. Wake is 4-9 in league play and 11-14 overall.
In other afternoon games today involving ranked schools, No. 8 Syracuse is playing host to No. 11 Georgetown, ninth-ranked Kansas is playing host to TCU and tenth-ranked Louisville is home to Seton Hall.
