Water Reclamation Plant Near Completion 2/22/13

Big Spring - More than 10 years in the making, the Colorado River Municipal Water District’s Big Spring Water Reclamation Plant is in its final sprint to completion.
CRMWD officials say they have started testing the plant and have been doing some fine tuning.
Officials with CRMWD say they expect to be finished with the project by April.
The reclamation plant will clean waste water from Big Spring through a three-step treatment process. The treatment mimics the natural process water would endure traveling through rivers and lakes under the sun.
