The Grand Jury for Andrews County met today to consider the facts and circumstances surrounding the death of a 15 month old toddler occurring back in December 2012 here in Andrews,Texas. After a lengthy and thorough investigation by the Andrews County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Rangers the case was presented to the Grand Jury. Today, the Grand Jury issued an indictment against Mandy Joy McDaniel for Capital Murder.
"This is the first step in the process of seeking justice for this child and her family and I can assure you that this office working with law enforcement will take all steps necessary to effectively and efficiently prosecute this individual to the fullest extent of the law."
