Greenwood ISD Releases Statement Regarding Gun Threat 2/21/13

MIDLAND - Greenwood ISD issued a press release addressing an alleged playground gun threat between two elementary school students earlier this week.
After investigating the incident, the threat was not verified and the GISD determined that there was no serious threat to student safety.
"We appreciate the report being brought to the attention of the administration so that the matter could be investigated to determine whether or there was a threat to student safety. We encourage all parents, staff and community members to immediately notify us of concerns" wrote Superintendent of Greenwood ISD Doug Young.
