DALLAS - Shawn Marion and Elton Brand scored 17 points apiece last
night in the Dallas Mavericks' 111-96 win over the Orlando Magic. Vince Carter
added 14 points off the bench for the Mavericks. The Magic lost for the 26th
time in 29 games.
HOUSTON - James Harden scored a career-high 46 points last night as the
Houston Rockets defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 122-119. Jeremy Lin added 29
points for the Rockets, who rallied from 14 points down with about seven minutes
left in the fourth quarter. Russell Westbrook and Thabo Sefolosha each had 28
points for the Thunder.
HOUSTON - A person familiar with the situation tells The Associated
Press that the Rockets have reached separate deals that will send Patrick
Patterson, Cole Aldrich and Toney Douglas to Sacramento and Marcus Morris to
Phoenix. Houston will receive three players from the Kings and a future
second-round pick from the Suns. Morris will join his twin brother, Markieff, on
the Phoenix roster.
FORT WORTH, Texas - Delisa Gross hit the game-winning shot with about a
minute left as TCU upset No. 23 Oklahoma State 64-63 last night. Gross finished
with 13 points and Donielle Breaux added 12 for the Horned Frogs. Liz Donohoe
led the Cowgirls with 22 points.
