ECISD officials confirm that a gun has been found at Nimitz Junior High School.
A teacher received a CrimeStoppers tip that a student might have brought a weapon to school.
Officials say the 9mm handgun was found in a locker.
The gun was unloaded.
A 15-year-old male student has been taken into custody.
