U.S. has Good Showing at Olympic Venue 2/16/13

SOCHI, Russia - Noelle Pikus-Pace (PY'-kuhs pays) and Katie Uhlaender (YOO'-lan-dur) of the U.S. took the top two spots in the season-ending skeleton World Cup race, while Germany's Marion Thees finished with the overall title.

The competition took place on the track in Sochi (SOH'-chee), Russia, the site of next year's Winter Olympics.

It was Pikus-Pace's second victory and fifth consecutive podium finish in World Cup events. Uhlaender finished third overall in the standings, 98 points behind Thees.
