MIDLAND, TX - A jury has sentenced a man found a guilty for shooting a man and biting a police officer. According to the Odessa American, James Chancellor Creech has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for "Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon" and 7 years probation for "Assault on a Peace Officer" plus $10,000 dollars in fines. Police say, Creech shot 58-year-old Steve Little twice at a home in Mission Dorado last June. He then bit an Odessa Police officer who was attempting to arrest him.
