Midland - Authorities in Midland are continuing to look into a chlorine leak at the water treatment facility on Midland Drive.
They've been monitoring it since around 9:40AM, but CBS7 is told that the leak is not posing a danger to the public.
The cause is said to be a manufacturer defect on a chlorine cylinder and it was a small leak.
Hazmat is sealing the valve at this time.
There will be no change to the water treated at the plant or pressure because of this leak.
