3 Executives Plead Guilty in Fraud Scheme 2/14/13

Associated Press
February 14, 2013

PLANO - Three more executives have pleaded guilty to charges in
a multimillion-dollar oil and gas investment fraud case.

A Justice Department statement Wednesday announced the guilty pleas in
federal court in Plano by Brendan W. Coughlin of Dallas, Henry D. Harrison of
Dallas and W. Mark Miller of Plano.

Documents show Coughlin and Harrison founded and controlled Provident
Royalties, which had its main office in Dallas but is no longer in business.
Miller served as chief financial officer and later as president. The news
release says Coughlin and Harrison conspired with others to defraud investors of
$2.3 million, and Miller knew of the caper, failed to report it and helped
conceal it.

Coughlin and Harrison face up to five years in federal prison. Miller faces
up to three years.
