Local Superintendent Will Attend School Security Symposium 2/13/13

AUSTIN- School officals across the state will be attending a school security symposium next month in Austin, and so far one local school district will be in attendance.
Kermit superintendent Bill Boyd said he will attend the symposium hosted by the Texas Association of School Boards Risk Management Fund.
The symposium, titled “Practical Consideration after the Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting,” will cover legal, policy, coverage, legislative, security law enforcement and emergency management issues.
It will take place at the TASB headquarters March 1.
