Midland Council Shows Support for Affordable Senior Housing Project 2/12/13

MIDLAND-The Midland City Council approved a resolution in support of a proposed senior rental housing complex at Beal Parkway.
The project is in its early stages. Executive Director of Midland Community Development corporation David Diaz asked for the council's support for his application for a tax credit for the project.
The project would bring affordable housing units for senior citizens on Beal Parkway between Graceland Drive and Leisure Drive.
Diaz says his next step will be to submit that application to the Texas Department of Housing for their 2013 tax credit program to move forward.
