Ector Sheriff's Deputy Arrested 02/12/13

Odessa - An Ector County Sheriff's deputy has been charged with Assault and Felony Theft.
Patrolman David Escudero was served with warrants and arrested by fellow deputies on Monday.
Escudero allegedly got into a fight with an ex-girlfriend in the parking lot of Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
The deputy reportedly took the woman's cell phone following a short tussle.
Ector Seriff Mark Donaldson says Escudero will be suspended until an investigation is completed by the Medical Center Hospital Police.
The 36-year-old Odessan was released on bond today after posting bonds of $2,000 for felony theft and $416 for assault.
Two years ago, Deputy Escudero underwant a traumatic event when a car pulled out in front of him killing both people in the vehicle.
Escudero was reported not to be at fault in that crash.
