Outdoor Enthusiasts Gather at The 31st Annual Midessa Boat, RV, Sport & Gunshow 2/9/13

ODESSA – Nearly 10,000 people came to the 31st Annual Midessa Boat, RV, Sport & Gun Show at the Ector Co. Coliseum.
The show, who gather visitors from all over Texas and New Mexico gives them the opportunity to see the latest RV models, fishing boats, jet skies, and a shooting range simulator.
Some outdoor enthusiasts also had the chance to cast their lure on the 4,000 gallon Bass tub and meet professional fisherman, Keith Johnson.
Although this event wasn’t only about gun sales, one local gun enthusiast shared his views on the current gun control talk in the U.S. Senate.
“They don’t want to loose their jobs, the senate and the house… they remember what happened in 94’ when they passed the Gun Control Act. They banned fully automatic weapons and high capacity magazines… the following election the Democrats lost the majority in the house and Senate, ” said Scott Grahams, U.S. Navy Sonar Technician.
