UPDATE: Mechanical Failure Causes Reagan County Plane Crash 2/8/13

UPDATE: CBS 7 crews are on the scene of the plane crash near Big Lake in Reagan County. According to Sheriff Jeff Garner the aircraft made an emergency landing following mechanical failure.
We are told that they attempted to land on the road but saw an oncoming truck and were forced to land in a nearby field.
The plane is privately owned and no one was injured in the crash.

CBS 7 has confirmed that a plane has crashed in Reagan County just north of Big Lake. Emergency crews are on the way.
The crash happened near FM 1357 between Ranch Road N. 33 and HWY 137.
We are getting reports that there are no injures.
