Police Say Vet's Phone May Have Victims' Photos 2/7/13

LANCASTER, Texas (AP) - Police say a cellphone seized from an Iraq War veteran's home may contain pictures of a former Navy SEAL sniper and his friend before the two were killed at a Texas shooting range.

A Lancaster Police Department inventory sheet and other documents released Thursday show several items were seized after Eddie Ray Routh's arrest and confession to killing "American Sniper" author Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield.

The documents say Lancaster police also seized a box of 9 mm ammunition, drug paraphernalia and a blue-jean jacket from Routh's home.

Lancaster police have obtained search warrants for the cellphone's pictures, text messages and recently called or missed phone numbers.

Authorities say Routh fled the gun range in Glen Rose in Kyle's truck Saturday. Routh remains jailed on $3 million bond.
