Permian High Teacher Struck by Skateboard During School 1/31/13

A Permian High School teacher was struck by a skateboard yesterday after a student was playing with it during school hours.
Family members of the teacher, Teri Richardson, tell us that the student hit the teacher with the skateboard after she tried to take it away.
The Ector County Independent School District Spokesperson Mike Adkins says the teacher was not hit by the student, but hit herself with the skateboard by accident. The student did face criminal charges.
