Medical Examiner's Office Identifies Body Found in Vehicle 1/28/13

The body of a person was found on Friday, 1-25-13 in a vehicle in a pasture off of Interstate 20 in west Odessa. The body was transported for examination by a forensic Anthropologist at the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office at the authority of the Ector County Medical Examiner’s Office on 1-25-13.
The person has been positively identified through dental records and x-rays by Dr. Roger Metcalf, D.D.S, Chief of Identification Services for Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office, at the request of the Ector County Medical Examiner’s Office, as Timothy Ryan Soto, 19 years of age. The Ector County Medical Examiner’s Office has ordered a full examination of the body to determine the cause of death. Next of kin has been notified.
Final autopsy reports and final rulings of Cause and Manner of death by the Ector County Medical Examiner’s Office are pending.
