City Councilman Calls for Change to Tall City Vision 1/25/13

A Midland city councilman is asking for the vision of the city to be revamped.
Today councilman John James received an award from the League of Women Voters and, during his acceptance speech, James said that we need to maximize the benefits of the growth we’re experiencing.
He says the best way to do so is by managing the growth properly.
Councilman James is asking that a group of volunteers called “Vision 20-20” re-visit a plan they recommended to city leaders in 2009 to match today’s pace of growth.
