TxDOT Crews Work to Repair Bridge in Big Spring 1/23/13

Big Spring - Repairs to a damaged bridge in Big Spring continues this week.
The bridge located at the Interstate Highway 20 intersecting with FM 700 was damaged by an 18-wheeler carrying a heavy load back in October.
Construction crews crews began replacing several load-bearing beams on the roadway today.
Officials say the project should be completed in early March.
Officials at the work site said short-term and temporary road closures are expected as the work continues and urge driver's to use caution when approaching the area.
J.H. Strain and Sons, Inc. of Tye have been contracted to complete the project for about $250,000.
